Meet Lauren and the Shop Dogs
Brown Dog Creative is a locally established custom furniture design company run by Lauren Carter of Charlotte, NC.
After moving into a home with a yard and workshop, Lauren’s dream was made into a reality. With a background in power tool sales and having always had a creative mindset, the jump to furniture maker was a perfect fit.
Brown Dog specializes in custom furniture and decor ranging in design styles, such as rustic industrial and mid century modern. That being said, Lauren is always eager to get creative and bring her client's vision to life. Since we are a local small business, we do our best to support other local small businesses by purchasing local raw materials.
Brown Dog is named after Lauren’s chocolate lab, Hampton, who is one of many pups roaming around the shop most days. Just like our pups, Brown Dog Creative aims to establish a bond with clients and create unique, custom pieces guaranteed to make your tail wag too!
